The son of a successful art salesman, Jon Long has been around the art and framing industry his whole life. More importantly he was taught the values of faith, family, and hard work. These values have played themselves out in various ways, from back breaking work at Discount Tire Company for six years, to spending five months in Tanzania, Africa with Village Schools International, to being a committed husband and father.
Jon graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005, yet the education of helping start a company from scratch was yet to come. Armed with a strong work ethic and an uncanny ability to connect with people and understanding human psychology, Jon brings creative and fresh thinking to the sales and marketing processes at Mirrorcle Frames®.
As one of the founding principles of Mirrorcle Frames, Jon has developed all sales and marketing procedures. As a lifelong student of business and marketing, he is consistently educating himself and refining his natural talents to help Mirrorcle Frames continue to grow.
In his spare time, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, exercising, and staying involved in his local church and various ministries. He is married to his best friend Britanie, and together they have two beautiful daughters; Preslie and Brilyn.
Brent was born and raised mostly in and around Houston, Texas. Staying there and being close to family is very important to him. His faith drives his life along with his love for America and all of the opportunities it provides for those who are willing to work hard and take risks. It is that rugged individualist spirit that prompted him to come to the north side of Houston in April 2008 and create the company that would eventually become Mirrorcle Frames.
The fact that he could build it with longtime friends who were practically family was just an added bonus to him. Brent has worked in the art and mirror framing industry since 1995. He worked for one of the top 5 art manufacturers in America for 13 years. He rose to the top and was running the whole operation in 4 ½ years. He restructured every aspect of the company and made it more efficient and profitable, while reducing employee turnover dramatically. He oversaw two major expansions as the company more than doubled in size under his management. It was at this company that he met Tim Long, Sr. Tim sold art for that company for 25 years. A friendship was forged, and it was out of that friendship that the trust was developed to eventually go into business together. Tim Jr also sold for that company for about a year and a half before starting Texas Fence Co. Brent got to know Jon Long a little better when Jon started buying framed mirrors from them to sell to home builders.
So when Tim called Brent with the idea to start a company that frames existing mirrors, he was willing to hear the pitch. After prayer and careful consideration, Brent agreed to come create this company. Brent and his wife moved into the make-shift apartment on the company property for two years to get the company started. By that time, the company was well established and on its way to becoming the model for Mirrorcle Frames franchises.
Besides running the Mirrorcle Frames operation, Brent loves his church, is a huge baseball fan, likes to play golf, or hike and enjoy nature when time permits. But among his favorite activities is simply hanging out with family and his four dogs.
